Suitable Shelter
When the weather turns bad, your horse is going to need comfortable shelter from the elements. Cold weather is often not a problem for a healthy horse but many horses will try to seek refuge from a rain shower, especially those that have a fine coat, such as Thoroughbreds.
TIPS
- When building a shelter, make sure it’s large enough for all your horses to get into without the risk of weaker members of the herd getting trapped.
